The sponge cake is a classic of pastry.
It is part of the preparations more usual of pastry, with which you can make pies and cakes to be filled as you prefer.
In a bowl beat eggs with sugar, gradually add the flour previously sifted, until mixture is creamy and smooth paste;
Add the vanilla and salt, mixing well;
Then pour the mixture into a buttered and floured mold and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180 °.
